A horrible earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, and they are still trying to recover. The earthquake was 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Haiti is a 3rd world country and because the structures of their buildings isn’t the best, the earthquake broke down many buildings and houses, and killed many people. Officials are estimating over 100,000 Haitians will be dead by the time this is all over. Luckily because of social media sites like twitter (and octogfx) Haiti will have a quick recovery. Millions of dollars have been donated so far, and besides donating, there any many things you can do to help out. Please click here for more info on how you can help.
Here are some pictures of the tragedy unfolding in Haiti. I tried to keep the pictures as clean as possible, but I couldn’t block myself from the really tragic pictures when searching for them. =/
